Powertech Select Motorcars is pleased to offer this early 2000's large sports sedan, a 2001 BMW 740iL.
The "L" is the long wheelbase version of the 7 series. I've always loved these cars and this car does not disappoint 23 years later! It is smooth, has great power and TONS of legroom! I also think that these have held up extremely well styling wise, as they are my favorite looking 7-series of them all. It currently has only 76k miles.

It is equipped with the desirable 18" M-parallel wheels which really set the car off as a sporty cruiser, with recent Goodyear Assurance tires with 2022 date codes.

In March 2024, the most recent owner spent $5,882.85 right after purchasing it to address:
- replace valve cover gaskets
- replace transmission filter, gasket and fluid
- replace rear upper control arms
- replace thrust rods in front
- replace lateral control arms in front
- replace center link and tie rods
- 4 wheel alignment

Following this, the most owner also replaced many other items including Timing chain tensioner, Power Steering overhaul kit, fuel injector O-rings, oil separator hose, oil change kit, oil pan gasket, valley pan replacement kit, serpentine belt kit, drive belt tensioner pulley, brake booster vacuum hose, crankcase vent valve, fan blade, various coolant hoses, coolant expansion tank, water pump, thermostat, coolant flush, ignition starter switch, spark plugs, air filter, brake fluid flush and fuel filter.

This car has some minor cosmetic blemishes including a cracked lower front bumper on passenger side, cracked lower rear bumper, a chip in the windshield that was filled. The screen on the radio does not function, however you can see the radio information on the computer function in the bottom of the instrument panel. There are some minor dings/scratches here, but overall does not detract from the attractiveness of this car.

The CARFAX show a minor damage report in 2022, which I suspect is either the lower front or rear bumper mentioned above. It also includes a lot of maintenance history throughout its life.

It comes with one key and some service records. It also comes with a box full of spare parts.
